Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Company Overview:

We are a Danish ISO13485-certified MedTech company based near, Copenhagen, specializing in the innovation of automated respiratory solutions. Our mission is to automate and digitize respiratory care, aiming to alleviate healthcare staff workloads and enhance the quality of treatment for patients undergoing oxygen therapy. Our Class IIB respiratory products are marketed directly to hospitals in Denmark and through distributors in select European countries. 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CEO with a strong commercial background to lead our company through its next growth phase. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic vision for expanding our innovative respiratory care solutions across Europe and into the U.S. market, while ensuring immediate revenue growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

   • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to introduce and scale automated respiratory care solutions in European and U.S. markets.
   • Balance long-term strategic objectives with short-term revenue goals.

2. Business Development:

   • Drive business growth within the hospital segment by establishing and managing sales channels, including direct sales and partnerships.
   • Navigate reimbursement processes for new medical solutions in the EU and U.S.
   • Implement diverse sales models such as CAPEX, rental, and SaaS to optimize market penetration.

3. Industry Expertise:

   • Leverage a background in healthcare, particularly in respiratory care and oxygen therapy, to inform strategic decisions.
   • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and adeptly manage industry-specific challenges.

4. Financial Oversight:

   • Oversee budgeting processes, prioritize investments, and manage financial resources effectively.
   • Lead fundraising efforts to secure necessary capital for expansion.

5. Team Leadership:

   • Cultivate a collaborative and innovative corporate culture.
   • Guide the transition from a development-focused organization to a commercially oriented enterprise.
   • Manage stakeholder relationships and drive organizational growth.

6. Technological Integration:

   • Oversee the implementation of advanced IT, automation, and medical technologies within the company’s operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the healthcare or MedTech industry.
• Demonstrated success in business development and market expansion, particularly within the hospital segment.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory and reimbursement processes in the EU and U.S.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and fundraising.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German and French is advantageous.
