Position Overview
We are looking for a visionary, globally-minded Senior Vice President of People and Culture to join our executive leadership team and shape the future of our most valuable asset—our people. In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in scaling our organization, weaving a cohesive and inclusive culture that thrives across borders, and ensuring our people strategy fuels our bold growth ambitions. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work hand-in-hand with leaders across all regions to ensure our people, culture, and organizational capabilities not only keep pace with our business—but power it forward.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a global people and culture strategy that enables the company’s growth from 60 to 300+ employees while preserving our core values and unique culture.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on all aspects of organizational design, talent management, and cultural evolution.
- Anticipate future talent and organizational needs to support strategic business goals.
Culture & Organizational Development
- Champion a unifying culture that thrives across borders, languages, and time zones.
- Foster an environment of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, sense of belonging, and cross-cultural understanding.
Talent Acquisition & Retention
- Oversee a scalable, data-driven global recruitment strategy to attract diverse, top-tier talent.
- Implement workforce planning, succession planning, and career pathing to ensure the right talent is in the right roles at the right time.
Employee Growth & Leadership Development
- Design and launch leadership development programs to prepare emerging leaders for larger roles in a rapidly growing organization.
- Build robust learning and development frameworks that address skills gaps and promote professional growth.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure HR operations are efficient, compliant, and adaptable to multiple countries’ employment laws and cultural norms.
- Oversee compensation and benefits strategies to remain competitive and equitable globally.
- Standardize and streamline HR processes to support scale without bureaucracy.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Develop and lead a DEI strategy that ensures diverse representation at all levels.
- Embed inclusive practices into hiring, performance management, leadership training, and everyday work.
Change Management
- Guide the organization through scaling challenges, market shifts, and potential structural changes while maintaining high morale.
- Serve as the cultural steward during integration of new teams, business units, or geographies.
Employee Experience
- Create an exceptional end-to-end employee journey—from onboarding to alumni engagement.
- Use employee feedback and people analytics to continuously improve workplace practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 7 years at the executive level.
- Proven success scaling an organization internationally from ~50 to 300+ employees.
- Deep expertise in strategic HR, organizational design, and cross-cultural leadership.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a high-performance, values-driven culture.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels.
- Strategic mindset paired with operational rigor—able to think long-term while executing flawlessly.
