You will…
Participate in the development of prototype devices for proof-of-concept and use in research projects, either in-house or with external partners.
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
- Producing conceptual designs for the development of new products
- Delivering detailed design of mechanical parts and solutions in plastic and rubber
- Build prototypes for design verification
- Ensure documentation, including requirements, specification, verification, DFM, and materials selection
- Close cooperation with other professions like electronics, sourcing, and production to ensure integrated product development and optimal cross-functional solutions

You have…
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
- 2+ years of experience in the development of medical devices or related, i.e. every step in product development life cycle
- Proficiency in Creo and PDM-Link including component design, assembly design, detailed drawing, BOM construction, and assembly drawing
- Knowhow about materials like silicone, plastics, and composite.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Great communications skills and a can-do attitude
